Orthomolecular Vitamin Information Centre Inc.
The mission of the Centre is to provide accurate, unbiased information in a non medical setting about the properties and uses of vitamins. Our approach is to educate our clients in the ways that nutrition may be helpful in building and maintaining wellness and in helping the body to normalize itself, regardless of what they have been diagnosed by their medical practitioners. We assess nutritional imbalances, taking into consideration clients’ general health, level of stress and medical history. Any condition (or just living) exerts stress on the body, and each person reacts differently, so a program for wellness must take into consideration the individual, their genetics, lifestyle, history, and so on. We don't advocate a 'cookie cutter' approach to wellness, and the kind of nutrition and supplementation that may be appropriate for one person, may not be the right approach for another person with similar issues

Walsh Research Institute
Dr. Walsh has been a pioneer in the development of advanced nutrient therapies since his collaboration with Dr. Carl Pfeiffer of Princeton, NJ in the 1980s. This approach recognizes that nutrient imbalances can alter brain levels of key neurotransmitters, disrupt gene expression of proteins and enzymes, and cripple the body’s protection against environmental toxins. Dr. Walsh’s database containing millions of chemical factors in blood, urine and tissues has identified high-incidence imbalances in patients challenged by behavior disorders, ADHD, autism, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorders, schizophrenia and Alzheimer’s disease. The treatment protocol consists of a medical history, specialized lab testing, diagnosis of chemical imbalance, and individualized treatment aimed at normalizing brain chemistry. Dr. Walsh’s clinical system is used by doctors throughout the world and has produced thousands of reports of recovery. His book Nutrient Power provides the scientific foundation for this medical approach, including the emerging field of epigenetics.

Dr. Walsh has trained more than 400 physicians and medical practitioners in targeted, individualized nutrient therapy since 2000. For a partial listing of doctors and clinics that provide biochemical/nutrient therapy, please read Dr. Walsh’s book, Nutrient Power (Appendix D), or visit our Clinical Resources page.
